Remarks: Polish Army Aviation 42.PSB (Pulk Smiglowcow Bojowych) Mi-2P Hoplite at Polish Army Museum. Mi-2P was a passenger version. Mil ( PZL ) Mi-2 Hoplite was the only Soviet designed helicopter to be built solely outside the Soviet Union by WSK-Swidnik. Production Poland started in 1965. Some 5450 were built by Polish.
Remarks: Il-2m3 Bark had 950 kilograms (2100 pounds) cockpit armor. The protective armour was some 12 mm thick. Tail gunner had 12,7 mm UBT machine gun. Wings had two 23 mm cannons and two 7,62 machine guns. Ilyusha could carry eight rockets and some 400 kilograms bomb load on wings. Polish Armed Forces used Shturmoviks through 50's beside with Il-10s and Avia B-33s.
Remarks: Avia B-33 was a licence built Il-10 Beast ground attack aircraft. Some 4966 Il-10s were built and some 1200 Czech built Avia-B33s. Poland had 120 Il-10s, 281 B-33s and 24 UII-10 trainers in service during 1949-60. Il-10/B-33 had four 23 mm NS-23 cannons in wings and one UB-20 20 mm cannon for tail gunner. All-metal Il-10 could carry 600 kg of bombs and four rockets.
