Remarks: Very often D-HTTT was visiting Amrum several times a day. The peak season creates for sure many patients which in some cases have to be brought to hospitals for further diagnosis or treatment. One of the typical thatched-roof houses is forming a nice background.
Remarks: Thumbs up, ready for departure. Callsign 'Christoph Europa 5', flying out of Niebüll hospital Heliport as well in northern Germany as in southern Denmark. On the left hand side the steeple of St. Clemens church in Nebel.
Remarks: D-HWWW 'Christoph Europa 5'. On the little Isle of Amrum there is no hospital so every medical emergency case requiring immediate diagnosis or treatment must be brought to suitable hospitals located on the neighboring island of Föhr or the mainland. Also a danish inscription because of transnational assignments.
Remarks: A relaxing moment in a very hard business - the helicopter arrived at the meeting point quickly and the crew is seen here waiting in the warm summer sun for the ambulance with the patient.
