Remarks: Produced in the '40s with a horizontally opposed Franklin engine, this aircraft has since been retrofitted with a Continental W-670 engine, the same powerplant seen on the ubiquitous Stearman. Since the retrofit, this airframe appears to have been stripped of nearly everything else...
Remarks: Was involved in a landing accident in July 2006 when a student pilot ran off the runway and collided with airport signage. Now in a sad state, missing its engine and resting on the tail.
Remarks: Original 1958 base model Cessna Skyhawk. You can really see the similarities between the C172 and C175 in this shot - the non-geared engine makes for a very sloped engine cowl though.
