Remarks: The optional gravel runway capability allows the 737-200 to operate on remote unimproved runways. The gravel kit includes gravel deflectors for the nose and main gears, vortex dissipators for each engine nacelle, and special protective finishes. Low-pressure tires are also required for operation on low strength runways.
