Remarks: (Built 1983) in the Helicopter Resources hangar receiving some maintenance. Photographed while in Tassie with the late Frank Schaefer on our "Jan 2004 - Shoot anything that flies in Tassie" tour. This was our last spotting trip together and we left Tasmania having shot nearly ever aircraft on the Island! Frank mate, this one's for you!
Remarks: (Built 1966) sitting in an obscure part of the airfield and not looking like it will fly again any time soon. Frank and I walked for an hour and a half round trip just to shoot this aircraft.... thankfully, just before we gave up, the sun came out for long enough to get some extra shots!
Remarks: Climbing out of Hobart Aiport back to Brisbane with a good view on the runway of Cambridge airfield. Tasmania is not only popular for the Tasmanian Devil, it also offers great opportunities for flying.
Remarks: "Helitack 721" returning from a mission operating for the Tasmanian Fire Service. These guys travelled a long way to help us with our fire season, I came a long way to photograph them! This was the highlight for me of our trip to Tassie!
