Remarks: First time in database. In the tail, the drawing of the Sydney Opera House, but the rudder being changed, the drawing is partial. On the side, the symbol of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Remarks: Close cropped view of Bell Helicopter Australia (white-skin) Demonstrator Bell 206A VH-FVR. Photo taken at dusk at Camden Airport (YSCN), NSW, in August 1970. The helo was fitted with a Nite-Sun searchlight, which was demonstrated during a 0.6 hour night flight over the airport. (The searchlight was being promoted for Ambulance and Police helicopter use. It worked very well!) Low res photo.
Remarks: The propeller has clearly suffered a ground strike. Probablly taxied into a ditch or hollow rather than a wheels up landing judging by the lack of damage to the lower cowl.
Remarks: Formerly A17-116 with the RAAF. Built at Mascot Airport Sydney 1940. Served with 7 ETS RAAF until 1946. Coverted to a crop duster and operated in Queensland until withdrawn from use in 1966. Placed into storage until restired and made airworthy again 1989.
