Remarks: The STOL 750 is a developed version of the earlier STOL 701 model, designed to fit into the LSA category. This one was registered with RAAus on 24 March 2011.
Remarks: In Bendigo to refuel after dropping off passengers at the Bendigo races. This smart EC-130 seems to have been registered new in New Zealand in October 2006 as ZK-HXW(4). It was exported to Australia in June 2011, being re-registered VH-YHS on 26 July.
Remarks: Based in Swan Hill, this aircraft is a frequent visitor to Bendigo. The CH 2000 Alarus is a factory-built development of the popular line of Zenair kitplanes. This aircraft, one of four on the Australian Register, was built in 1999 and registered new on 9 February 2000.
Remarks: This brand-new King Air is one of several operated by Pel-Air out of Essendon on the Air Ambulance contract. Built in 2010, it was allocated the US registration N6155S, but appears to have never taken it up. Similarly, it also appears to have had the Australian registration VH-ZKB reserved. In any case, it was registered in Australia as VH-VAE on 4 June 2010.
Remarks: The massive 5-blade prop on this turbine-Dromader is quite impressive. Built in 1985, the turbine conversion was done in Australia using an STC kit to incorporate a TPE-331. First registered in Australia on 12 November 1999.
Remarks: Firebird 336 is stationed at Bendigo for the summer of 2011/12 on fire-fighting standby. It was first registered in Australia on 7 May 2010 as VH-THQ(3), later becoming VH-PXX(3). Just to confuse matters, it's almost identically marked to another AS-350B3, VH-YXX!
Remarks: This NSW-based Dakota is a fairly rare sub-type on the Australian Register (one of only 14). It was registered new in Australia on 11 January 1979.
