Remarks: View of S-64F Skycrane N179AC, Named 'Elvis' (Code 739), with water pump hose extended, before a water bombing demo at Avalon Victoria in 2009. (There are usually three of these remarkable helicopters in Australia each Fire Season. At least one was operating in Victoria in early Feb 2009.) There are never enough Fire-Fighting helos when they are required. Condolences are extended to Victorians who lost property, friends or family members in Australia's worst ever Bushfire disaster, on 07Feb2009.
Remarks: Professional Helicopter Services (PHS) Bell 206B JetRanger VH-PHO (Firebird 312) takes three Photographers for a Photo Sortie at the 2009 Australian International Airshow at Avalon. They must be Airshow Accredited Photographers (in Hi-Viz gear), as a Joy Flight passenger would not be allowed to sit on the floor with feet on the steps. Photo taken on Friday 13th March 2009.
