Remarks: Ahh, the wonderful DC-9's! I just love this view with all the old timers lined up on the ramp at night. Taken at a 30 second exposure at 50mm from the Westin hotel at Detroit.
Remarks: In my 6 years of spotting at Detroit Metro Airport I have never seen a heavy take off of runway 3L/21R. Today that has changed. This A330-200 headed to Amsterdam rolled down the shortest runway at Detroit and, along with a 777 that did the same thing, completely made my day.
Remarks: As we pull into the gate at ISP, we are met by this friendly neighbor. This is my 100th photo on this wonderful site, and I would like to take time to thank everyone who has helped me to get here. This photo is dedicated to all of you, thanks everyone!
