Remarks: Passing the island of Penang as we make our way up the coastline of Malaysia to Langkawi. The road bridge that connects the island to the mainland can be seen towards the right hand side of the image.
Remarks: Good friend and fellow JetPhotos contributor Tom Gautier is making good use of the facilities here at Funchal. [Google Earth 32°41'35.46"N 16°46'35.27"W]
Remarks: What a pleasurable flight – Here in the economy section of our flight I can’t count more than a dozen heads occupying the 1st section of the economy cabin. Our 11 hour flight to San Francisco was one of the most enjoyable flights due to this reason and also the fantastic service from Virgin Atlantic.
Remarks: A view of the front section of economy (coach) class. The interesting 2-5-2 configuration makes the journey very comfortable when travelling in pairs. Taken whilst Dan Nicholson and I take a stroll around the cabin after hitting the half way mark to Chicago O'Hare.
Remarks: A great view inside this A320 as we make our way to Las Vegas. The first class product can be seen up ahead behind the purple glass. I was thoroughly impressed with the Virgin America product which included subtle features such as touch screens and the purple mood lighting as seen in this picture.
Remarks: Heathrow airport in recent times has certainly been one of those airports you either loved or hated flying through.
But with the recent opening of the new Terminal 5, I would find it hard to believe that anyone couldn’t find pleasure in visiting and using this architectural masterpiece.
Remarks: A great view over the residential areas of West London as we near the end of our 7 hour flight from Dubai. Whilst we are only minutes away from touching down on Heathrows Rwy27L, little did I know at this point that as a result of arriving early, lack of A380 stands & BAA only operating 1 jetbridge for this flight that I would still be sat in this seat 45 minutes from now.
Remarks: This 14 year old, short haul configured 767 is certainly showing her age. A very light rear economy section as we make our way over Germany to Frankfurt as BA702.
