This former JAL DC.10, now owned by Omega Air, was rolled out at Bournemouth today for the first time after conversion to a tanker by FR Aviation. It should fly shortly and is due to appear at the Farnborough Air Show in a few weeks.

First time on JetPhotos.net - Onur Air's new colour scheme. Taken barely ten minutes after it was rolled out from the European spray shop at Bournemouth.
Remarks: Steve Fossett set a new world record today for the longest flight by any aircraft in history 26,389.3 statute miles. As Steve began his descent from 40 000 feet thirty minutes before an expected arrival at Kent International Airport at Manston, the Global Flyer suffered generator failure. With only battery power, Steve declared an immediate mayday and was directed to Bournemouth where accompanied by the Citation X N377SF chase plane with Sir Richard Branson aboard, Steve made a safe landing despite suffering 2 blown tyres being held up by pallet trucks as the picture shows. 1 engine for ultra long haul

Steve has landed! The Virgin Global Flyer landed here at dusk at around 17:10 local time on February 11th. Taken early the following day (in the rain). Notice the two burst main tyres - it had to be pushed off the runway.
