Remarks: This is the METS (Modular Egress Training Simulator) of the german navy. Based at the "Inspektion Überleben auf See" at Nordholz. This METS is a simulator for a cockpit and/or fuselage of an aircraft or helicopter. It is used for training to escape of a water-ditched aircraft. The complet METS could be roled under water! This picture was made during my seasurvival-training. The METS was configured and equiped as a Sea-Lynx-Helicopter with it´s doors, windows, seats, seatbelts and with it´s controls! A crew is preparing for ditching while the instructor in the back is watching them!
