Remarks: The first BCF, as indicated by the additional titles, departing on a great summer afternoon when it was flying for CX. It’s now flying for Air Hong Kong who have received two other BCFs as part of their capacity expansion.
Remarks: Cathay -300 departing HKG on another regional hop. Those puffy cumulous clouds you see in the summer make for a nice & interesting background I think.
Remarks: Malaysian 737 departing to Kota Kinabalu & this flight, MH384/385, is now operated by the 737-800. 9M-MQG has been stored since this past July.
Remarks: Avient Aviation’s MD-11F is finally airborne after a seemingly never-ending takeoff roll. This is probably the lowest 25L departure I've ever seen. It would be nice if they sent their only remaining DC-10 to HKG again!
Remarks: I think things are not looking good for this airline. They have stopped flying to Hong Kong, their second DC-10 (registration UP-DC102) is stored & one of their Il-62s is now flying for another airline. I believe UP-DC101 is still flying though, and assume their 737 is still operational too.
Remarks: One of Cathay’s 6 400ERF freighters departing heavy to the States on a gorgeous day with some dark clouds partially shading the mountains of Lantau in the background.
