Remarks: As the last rays of light stream over Manchester this Helvetic aircraft in the companies old livery taxies in after arriving from Zurich operating a flight for Swiss.
Remarks: This aircraft was operating for XL Airways U.K. back in the days before the U.K. division of the airline went bankrupt. The aircraft had recently become a part of XL France after the airline had been renamed earlier that year from Star Airlines France and still shows signs of its previous livery in this photo.
Remarks: Stunning light on the old livery, the airline was just changing its livery at this time so the sun was setting on this livery. Quite a nice sentiment to it i think.
Remarks: Arriving at Manchester so the manager could renew the contract with Manchester United and on PR activities. Spot the players that no longer play for United as it is most of them on this side. The low evening autumn light glowing off the fuselauge makes this aircraft look even better.
