Remarks: Kenya Airways has been flying to HKG for quite a few years now on the route NBO-BKK-HKG-BKK-NBO. However from April 1 2013 onwards they've eliminated the Bangkok stopover in favour of Dubai.
Remarks: This was before the merger with Continental and between 2006 & 2007 we did get UA 777s on the Tokyo service replacing the 747s. I do miss this United scheme although I think it's one of those schemes where the light has to be appropriate for it stand out.
Remarks: I much prefer their old scheme as I think cheatlines look really good, especially on 747 classics. N521UP begin its life with Singapore Airlines in '81 as a 212B. It then flew for Garuda before being acquired by UPS and converted to a 212B(SF). This aircraft used to carry the “Olympic Partner” special scheme. N521UP was stored in December 2008.
Remarks: TF-AMI was originally a Singapore Airlines 744 (9V-SMO). It was acquired by Air Atlanta Icelandic in 2005 & then converted to a freighter in 2006 by Israel Aerosapce Industries (IAI). It has been leased to Saudi Cargo and currently carries their scheme.
Remarks: The 747 classic will always be the best looking out of all the 747 variants for me. Everything about them looks awesome, from the old PW JT9D engines to the earlier models that carried the wingtip-mounted HF antennas. The classics managed to make the Dragonair scheme look decent!
Remarks: Close cropped view of the Port-side Instrument Panel of aerobatic Zlin Z.242L VH-NZL at Canberra Airport on 29Jan2007. Photo taken (with engine running, at 0737 hrs) at the start of an early morning 0.3 hour photo trip to the ADC facility. This was my 1000th Flight in my Trip Logbook.

I had photographed the ADC facility at Weston Creek, exactly four years after a flight in CT-4B VH-ZCT which covered fire damage from the Canberra Firestorm on 18Jan2003. Zlin VH-NZL has been sold since, and is now based in Melbourne. (This Zlin trip was my 1000th Flight.)
Remarks: Overview of Canberra Airport taken from an aerobatic Zlin Z.242L, turning right after take-off from Rwy 12. We were on an early morning photo trip on 29Jan2007. This precinct has been substantially redeveloped over the next five years.
Remarks: Port-side view of the Cockpit/ Instrument Panel (and unique forward sliding canopy) of aerobatic Zlin Z.242L VH-NZL. I had just returned from an early morning 0.3 hour photo trip over the ADC facility, and the aircraft had just been shut down. This was my 1000th Flight in my Trip Logbook. (Zlin VH-NZL has been sold since, and is now based in Melbourne.)
