Remarks: This former Ansett Express F28-1000 (with Ansett colours painted over) was partly dismantled at the Ansett Tullamarine maintenance base in Nov 1995. The hulk now sits at the east end of the airport, probably used for security training. Note the roller-shutter doors on the fuselage. VH-FKD was ex Fokker PH-EXA, and entered service with Ansett Airlines of NSW on 07Nov1970. She went to Ansett Express on 28Nov1990, and was withdrawn from use on 21Apr1994. Low res photo.
