Remarks: After making a departure from runway 26 at LGW we banked round to the right a full 180 degrees and luckily i was presented with this overview of the entire field at LGW. The weather was gloomy however i was at the start of a LGW-DXB sector which in the end would take me on to BKK/SYD and MEL for a 10 day holiday! Shot taken from A6-EMV 777-300. (1dmkii/17-40F4L)
Remarks: This is the flight deck of the Boeing 777-300 that flew me from LGW-DXB on the first leg of my Ozzie trip! The captain was nice enough to let me into the cockpit to take some shots, he also was very kind enough to turn all of the lights on for me so that i could take this stunning image! Light levels were so low in the cockpit that i had to shoot at ISO1600 - 1/4sec - F2.8 on my 15mm Fisheye. Even this underexposed the image by nearly a stop! Very very dark! (1dmkii/15mmFisheye)
Remarks: Here is a shot of the rear economy cabin on this EK 773! The loads were pretty low today on this LGW-DXB sector which made for a comfortable and pleasurable flight for myself and my dad. EK are a good carrier and i will definitely choose them again! I love the fisheye perspective on this shot! (1dmkii/15mmF2.8Fisheye/ISO800)
Remarks: The Flightdeck of a B1900C is a cramped place, and definately a hive of activity as the crew operates the 30min shuttle between Adelaide and Kingscote (the tiny terminal can be seen outside the window).
Remarks: Simply outdated! APEC Thailand 2003 was held in October that year. By October 2006, if this sticker is still not removed, it would have been more than 3 years old! I believe this aircraft should be next in the line for application of the new TG colours.
Remarks: Arriving as CX 713/716 from Hong Kong. First sighting of a CX A346 here in SIN, a photo opportunity just too good to pass up. It's really LONG!
