Remarks: I haven't seen this aircraft type in Curacao in a long time. I took this photo in 2005.
Remarks: Not the perfect shot but very-very special!!! The Tornado 43+55 and the Breguet Atlantic 61+14, both Ex-German-Navy, on their way to the museum Aeronauticum. At this moment they are waiting on the glider-runway of Nordholz-Spieka! It took a few days to transport this two heavy planes from the main-runway ETMN, over the privat airfield EDXN and a very long field to the museum Aeronauticum which you can see under the right wing of the Atlantic!
Remarks: Holding short ready for departure RWY03.
Remarks: Touching down on RWY03, what with the demise of XL and a new fence around the runway at Lanzarote we won't be blessed with these views again.
Remarks: The bright Iberia livery is very fitting in this typical Lanzarote scene.
Remarks: The superb lines of the 757 seen in fantastic winter sunshine on the taxiway at ACE.
Remarks: A livery which is now unfortunately long gone, approaching RWY03.
Remarks: Approaching RWY03 on a fine Winter's morning, this aircraft was now last seen at Kemble earlier in 2009 waiting to be scrapped
Remarks: Close-up at the holding point waiting for take-off clearance
Remarks: Throwing the spilers out after arrival on RWY03
Remarks: Another livery that unfortunately won't be around for much longer.
Remarks: Nice detail as this one approaches the holding point for RWY03
Remarks: Quite a difficult one to catch, caught in perfect light on her way to RWY03
Remarks: Yet another airline that I sadly won't photograph again, seen in the original livery
