Remarks: Airborne view of Melbourne's Essendon Airport. This was Melbourne's International and Domestic Airport until Tullamarine was opened in 1971. Urban encroachment is obvious, and now some pressure groups are seeking to have the Airport closed. Remarks: I didn't see the Hercules landing, got out of my car, took the camera and just pushed the button right away. Nice effect to see the 84002/842, a C-130H (or TP84) fill the frame like this.
