Remarks: LAN 841 from Santiago on taxi to a remote stand at one of the most isolated places on Earth. Easter Island also known as "Rapa Nui" and "Isla de Pascua" is located over 2,000 miles from the nearest population center (Tahiti and Chile). LAN normally uses 767 on this route, but that day we got lucky with this A 340 on our flight LAN 842 back to Santiago de Chile.
Remarks: This is what the upper class suite seat of Virgin Atlantic looks like. This is seat is located in Zone 1 of the front nose cone of the 744. This seat offers a fully flat bed that is 6ft6" long. The foot pedestal can be used as a visitors seat and can be used so that two people can dine together. There is a 10.1" fold out LCD screen that is concealed in the left side of the seat, every seat offers aisle access and is very comfortable to fly in! (10D/17-40F4L/550EX/Stofen/ISO200)
Remarks: After arriving into JFK from LHR i had a wander around the cabin/cockpit of G-VAST. This is a shot of the new upper class suites cabin that is located in the nose of the 747-400. You can see here the large LCD Tv's you get, the foot rests/guest seats and the nice and classy purple lighting. The booth to the right hand side of this picture is the inflight beauty booth where you can receive inflight manicures from the IFBT. (10D/17-40F4L/ISO400)
Remarks: Mid flight during my trip to JFK i took a chance to shoot this cabin shot. Flight was good today, it was a shame we had an Odyssey equipped plane and not a VPort one. Remarks: Lovely view out of the right hand side of G-VAST as we cross the atlantic on our way to KJFK! Very nice flight today, was very smooth and enjoyable. The curving of the earth looks extreme! It's amazing to see! This was shot from the 2nd door in the premium economy section of this aircraft! 15mm fisheye action again! (10D/15mmF2.8Fisheye)
