This Dak was delivered to the RAAF as A65-100 in May 1945 where it served until August 1975 when it was acquired by the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and became P65-100 and P2-001. The aircraft landed here, as VH-DNF, a few years prior to this shot being taken and never flew again. It left the airfield by truck, bound for Molong in Central NSW, in February 2010.
