Remarks: (Built 1955) about to touch down on Rwy 18 at the end of a brilliant flying display. This aircraft is operated by the Temora Aviation Museum and is generally flown on a flying weekend once a month. If you are ever in Australia, a weekend at Temora is one not to miss. Ex RAF WJ680.
Remarks: (Built 1949) the worlds last airworthy Meteor F.8 lining up for an ear shattering departure off Rwy 36. Love loud warbirds? Temora is the place for you! Ex RAF VZ467. In 1974 the aircraft earned the name "Winston" after it was scheduled to star in a flypast to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill's birth. The flypast never eventuated, but the name was retained on the aircraft till it was retired from RAF service in October 1983.
Remarks: (Built 1992) tied down in the Aussie sun on what was a magnificent day out at Temora. This aircraft was exported to Jordan in 2004 where it became JY-SEA. The aircraft was placed into service on July 29th 2004 with the Iraqi Air Force as YI-101 based at Basrah. Sometimes it pays to research the aircraft you're uploading!
