Remarks: (Built 1989) stored on the ramp at Essendon after the collapse of Ansett. The jet remained in Victoria until its demise at the hands of metal munchers over at Tullamarine on 15 August 2006.
Remarks: (Built 1990) stored at Tullamarine awaiting disposal after the collapse of Ansett. After 5 years in storage the aircraft was scrapped in August 2007. Ex VH-EWK with East-West Airlines between 1990 and 1992.
Remarks: (Del 1/87) sealed up and minus engines during a period of storage at Tullamarine subsequent to the collapse of the airline the year before. Aircraft is now flying as G-CELB with Jet2 in the UK.
Remarks: (Del 10/86) stored awaiting disposal after the collapse of Ansett Australia. The aircraft was subsequently reregistered as G-CELZ and departed Melbourne in September 2003. The aircraft was delivered to Jet2 in August 2004 and is still flying with the airline at time of upload.
Remarks: An overview of the Melbourne Airport terminal complex from aboard a Qantas Boeing 747-400 on very short final for Runway 27 after a quick 1hr flight down from Sydney operating as QF022 which was a continuation of the overnight flight from Tokyo to Sydney.
Remarks: (Built 1976) parked on the apron with a few NZ registered BAe-146's in the background awaiting disposal post the collapse of Ansett Australia.
Remarks: The view down Runway 34L while lining up aboard a Qantas Boeing 747-400 prior to departure as QF022 to Melbourne. In the distance you can see a Qantaslink 717 crossing the runway and a Qantas 737 vacating the runway after landing.
Remarks: (Del 1/87) stored at Melbourne after the unfotunate collapse of Ansett Australia. The aircraft departed Melbourne for Bournemouth in the UK on August 22nd, 2003. It eventually became G-CELA with Jet2 and is still in service as at June 2009.
