Remarks: One of the oldest photos of this United 777 in database, here just 2 months old. Still flying for United nowadays.
The Heathrow-Washington service was the first commercial route for the 777.
Remarks: ex Western Airlines. Operating for Lithuanian from June 1995 until 2005. Scrapped nowadays.
Remarks: Build in 1990, but deliverd to Egyptair two years later. Flying for this company until 2005 when converted to freighter for Fedex.
Remarks: ex Qantas 747. Went to United in 1991 and was also one of the first 747's in this 'new' colours. Scrapped Marana(AZ) in 2003
Remarks: One of the first A340's ever build; delivered to Virgin in 1993. Went to Virgin Nigeria in 2005 and to Air Comet in 2007, until bankrupty in 2009. Stored in Madrid, nowadays.
Remarks: Arriving in Heathrow via rwy 27L. Deliverd 1986 to Wardair Canada. After the merge with Canadian stored in 1991 but leased by Sudan Airways from 1992 until 1996. Nowadays flying for French Airforce.
Remarks: Taxiing to ryw 27R, for departure to Montreal. Converted to -400SF in 2005-2006 for Air China Cargo.
Remarks: First 767 for KLM; just a few days old when photo was taken!! Here arriving from Amsterdam, via rwy 27L
Remarks: History at Heathrow, when SAA was flying the 744 on the Johannesburg service.
Remarks: No matter in what colourscheme; I always like the elegancy of the 747SP.
Remarks: For Heathrow a frequent visitor; this UAE Amiri Flight A300.
