Remarks: Low-Key In-Flight view of the Instrument Panel of an RAAF 10 Squadron Neptune flying near RAAF Base Townsville in June 1977. Neppy A89-281 was leading a three-ship practice formation flight to mark the end of Neptune operations at Townsville on 30Jun1977. (No 10 Sqn then moved to RAAF Base Edinburgh in South Australia, to introduce P-3B Orions into RAAF Service.) The Panel indicates that A89-281 was flying straight and level at 1000 Ft AMSL, heading 130 at 175Kts, when this rare photo was taken.
