Remarks: From Florida to Wyoming in C172. Just an amazing adventure. We flew in formation and VFR this leg from Greeley-Weld, Colorado to Casper, Wyoming. PIC in the plane Juan David Tamara (Recording a video) and SIC David Hunziker (Flying the plane). This picture is a good memory.
Remarks: Sorry, but I have no idea as to the identity of this very nicely preserved C119 that I photographed in the museum area at Greybull. Anyone know what became of it when the Hawkins and Powers collection was sold off?
Remarks: After the last of the vice presidents baggage are unloaded, shes towed to a parking stand with security looking after the plane. As I continued my drive over the mountain pass I was able to spot this plane from as far as 20miles away from an overlook. The views are simply endless in this place.
Remarks: While sitting in the Terminal chowing down a Hamburger, I see a 757 turn to a 6 mile final in the distance. Instantly recognizable from its presidential markings, I quickly wiped off my greasy hands and got my camera ready. Totally unexpected yet a pleasant surprise for Dick Cheney to drop in on this day.
Remarks: Jackson hole is probably the North American counterpart to Innsbruck in terms of scenic wonder and challenges in operations for the avid spotter. It must be just fantastic in the wintertime with 10,000' Grand Teton as a backdrop.
