Remarks: The naval strike fighter Étendard first flew in 1958 and during its carreer these aircraft where involved in conflicts in Libanon, Yugoslavia and Kosovo. This unit is shown at the Intrepid museum at NY.
Remarks: The Skyhawk first flew in 1954 and became very popular at the American navy and as en export naval fighter, due to its cheap, agile and robust design. This unit served onboard the Intrepid at Vietnam.
Remarks: Now this was nice, somewhere over the USA i sat in seat 4F in First Class on this American 767-300 and watched the sun set behind the horizon, sipped on my cocktail and no doubt listened to some tunes on the iPod. I love this part of flying, the time to get away, watch the world go by and just enjoy some peace. (5D2/17-40F4L)
Remarks: High above the sky during the long LHR-LAX flight i managed to grab this shot out the window of my AA 772. One of the best things i find about air travel is being able to sit there and watch the world go by underneath you, the clouds, the sky, the different parts of the land below.
