Remarks: Cockpit/ centre console of RAF VC10 C1K Tanker XR808, which was on static display in the rain at RAF Fairford on 07Jul2012 during the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT). This VC10 was operated by 101 Squadron RAF, based at Brize Norton, and had a Special logo on the tail Marking the Squadron’s 95th Birthday, and 50 Years of VC-10 Service. RAF VC10s will soon be retired and replaced by Airbus KC-30As.
Remarks: Tartan 21 flight arrives for a flypast at RAF Leuchars. The flypast is to mark 50 years of the type! Other two aircraft involved are XV108 and ZA147.
