Remarks: When the departure for this bird was listed as 10 minutes early, you just know that that won't happen, and indeed, BG85 pushed back from C17 49 minutes late, and much to my delight, facing the VM. Here she is taxiing to 20C, amidst much shutter clicks from the crowd that thronged the VM!
Remarks: The past and the present of Singapore Airlines can be seen from this shot, an SQ A333 is on finals for RWY20R as she returns home from another medium-haul flight BG85 to Dhaka pushing back from gate C17. Definitely a surprise to see a DC-10 operating on this flight instead of the usual B737. She was first delivered to Singapore Airlines on 29/11/1978, registered as 9V-SDB. After spending 5 years with Singapore Airlines, she was delivered to Biman Bangladesh and has since flew for BG for the past 29 years and is currently 34 years of age. [1200 PIXELS]
