Remarks: A/C has been restored displaying the markings of USN Heavy Electronics Recon Squadron Six (RVAH-6) and is currently being displayed on the National Museum of Naval Aviation flight line, NAS Pensacola, FL.
Remarks: The RA-5C was used by the Navy as a reconnaissance aircraft and was capable of Mach 2 flight. It was powered by two GE J79 turbojet engines producing 18,000 lbs of thrust each.
