Remarks: Taxying for departure to go and annoy Royal Navy warships on a sea to air gunnery exercise trailing a drogue. Will probably return later full of holes knowing our navy gunners.
Remarks: 1600 pxls - Libya Crises :- One of the various diversions we had during the thousands of Close Air Support missions being flown by Nato. Seen here is one of a pair of Mirage 2000, this one a N model and other one was a D model. This one had to divert to Malta with a broken (completely lost) refuelling probe tip. Seen carrying Paveway laser guided bombs underneath centreline hard points integrated with Damocles laser designator pod.
Remarks: [1500 pix] Libya Crises- Taking off runway 13 after landing 2 days before with an emergency. This aircraft in particular had lost its refuelling probe and the other one which landed with it burst one of its tyres upon landing.
Remarks: And once again another diversion to MLA from Libya.Came with another Mirage 2000 but the other one was a 2000D(!!).Landed as OUP222 due to that one of them had a broken re-fuelling probe.The other one as it touched down the runway one of it's tyres burst!Seen here departing to Sauda Bay,Krete.
