Remarks:Jalways 771 on finals for RWY34L on an overcast morning suprisingly switched to the rare 747-400 rather than the usual 777-200. This will be my last photo of the JAL 744 unfortunatly although the circumstances it came weren't the best send out.[Canon 50D]
Remarks: There was a time when these were twice a day common for me at LHR. Now I rarely see them anywhere. So it was a nice surprise when this turned up, especially since they announced that the entire JAL 747 fleet is going to be retired. Sad, as once up on a time JAL used to be the largest 747 operator in the world.
