Remarks: "The Spirit of Delta" is another aircraft preserved in the Delta Heritage Museum. For a few years now she has been sitting here in her original livery after undergoing and extreme makeover in her cabin. Everything past the first few coach rows were stripped and made into glass enclosings housing historic objects like pictures, uniforms and models.
Remarks: "Spirit of Delta" sitting in a hangar at the Delta museum. Who wants to donate to the "Lets all chip in and buy Eric a row of 767 seats" fund. Just the low, low price of $50 plus shipping to North Dakota and you'll be left with the gratifying feeling that comes only from buying a couch for a college kid's apartment.
Remarks: At its new home, the Spirit of Delta rests for the night while it waits for an interior overhaul, becoming a meeting room. KEEP DELTA MY DELTA!
Remarks: Aircraft on its final journey to Delta's museum at Delta’s headquarters in Atlanta. “The Spirit of Delta” was purchased by Delta employees and operated from 1982-2006 which marked the end of 767-200 service at Delta.
Remarks: Manufactured in 1982. [DAL9995/102 (KJFK-KJFK)] The spotless cabin of The Spirit of Delta after the one-hour employee flight around New York. I love the comfort of the 2-3-2 configuration, especially on long-haul flights.
Remarks: Manufactured in 1982. [DAL9995/102:(JFK-JFK)] The Spirit of Delta seen after the one-hour employee flight around JFK. I sure miss this livery on all Delta aircraft.
