Remarks: The 737 and the MD90s in the background are both now history for Saudi Arabian Airlines. Note the nozzles under the engines to blow away debris from engine intake when operated from semi-prepared runway. This was the part of what was known as the "gravel-kit" but the nose wheel trap had been removed for this aircraft.
Remarks: Could it be the only 737 left in the fleet? Saw the same one in the same place on three different days. But it's still in use for sure as I have seen passengers boarding. Shot discretely from the departure lounge. Photography (especially) in airports are strongly disliked in Saudi Arabia. But the temptation was too much! - Update Jan'06 - HZ-AGS is also in service as of Dec'05, so this is not the only one.
