Lebombo retired in the hot South African sun at the South African Airways Museum Society.
On the 24th June 1995 'Lebombo' performed a low-level fly past over Ellis Park Stadium at the Rugby World Cup final bearing 'Good Luck Bokke' beneath her wings.
Springbok 281 taxis to the terminal. SAA once had regular flights to Sydney. This aircraft LEBOMBO is now a static display at the South African Aviation Museum. From the pre digital days.
