Remarks: This German-registered Harvard is seen approaching Fairford s Runway 27 on arrival for RIAT on the Thursday before the show weekend. This is one of the AT-16 Harvards built by Canadian manufacturer Noorduyn under license. It carries the Type-A roundels and paint scheme of one of the Empire Flying Training Schools stationed somewhere in the Commonwealth at the outbreak of the second world war (all of which wore RAF colours).
