Remarks: Was very happy to cross this one off my list of a/c I still need to get. Alliance are just too lazy to paint this one into their normal colour scheme.
Remarks: First Flight 20/07/1989, ex US Airways N851US (08/89-03/03) and Air Berlin/Germania D-AGPB (04/03-02/09). Delivered to Alliance June 2009. Seen here in it's all white scheme departing to Newcastle on behalf of Virgin Australia as Virgin 1106.
Remarks: Very light load onboard DJ1109 NTL-BNE with only around fifteen passengers. We could sit in any seat we wanted whilst in cruise and of course I felt like sitting next to the engine. ;) Note the analog clock at the front of the cabin on the right. Thanks to the crew for a great flight.
Remarks: Quite a rare experience for me sitting just centimetres away from an engine! Passing over northern New South Wales flying NTL-BNE as Virgin 1109 in seat 18G as Alliance Airlines operates F100s on select routes for Virgin Australia.
