Remarks: Here comes one of the last ever built Fokker F-27s. First flight on June 3 1985 with PH-EXN Dutch (Fokker) test registration. Manufactured in 1985, originally for Midstate Airlines which Wisconsin-based company planned to refresh its Swearingen Metroliners with a fleet of six newly ordered F-27 500s. Her first registration was N245MA, but not taken up (ntu). Delivered October 1985 to Air Wisconsin as N505AW. Airwings Inc. bought October 11 1991 and sold to Alpenair October 29 as OE-ILW. Remarks: ex. Amerer Air OE-ILW. New airline and reg in database. After her last flight for amerer air on 5th November 2009 she rest at linz airport. This is one of the last pictures of “Sissy” at LOWL. On 15th May 2012 she leaves Linz to Kenya. Now flying for Safari Express Cargo as 5Y-SXP. “Good bye, Sissy”
