Remarks: Overran Runway 5 on takeoff on April 26th. Eyewitnesses report that the aircraft was airborne before losing engine power and landing straight ahead into the grass. No injuries to the pilot, but the plane looks totaled. The landing gear sheared off, the prop is bent up, and the left wing is visibly damaged.
Remarks: "Hadley's Harem". August 1st 1943, this bomber took-off from Benghazi to Ploesti Oil Refinery in Romania. Following the bombing and the shooting of the target by a German warbird, tried to land in Cyprus, but was ditching near Antalya. 7 people survived the accident. On display in Rahmi Koc Museum.
Remarks: On August 10, 2012 a Lufthansa A330 (D-AIKE) clipped the tail of this N341NG while taxing from the gate. Nearly 7 months after incident, this Colgan Dash 8 is still sitting on the ground with a broken tail. It appears that no repairs have taken place since the accident.
