Remarks: The front galley of the B747 of the KLM. This is located at the R.H. side between the 2 front doors of the aircraft. Only a very few airlines have this in use by this way
Remarks: Pre-departure preparations in the flight deck with the refueling engineer confirming the amount of fuel on board. CLICK HERE to look at the same aircraft after landing into doha after a 5 1/2 hour flt.
Remarks: What a flight! Only the second time this aircraft has operated the ATL-DTW route and I got on it! The flight went out with over 100 available seats! Having the whole row to myself, I took tons of pictures with this being one of them. This aircraft came in from Dubai the day before and continued to Shanghai when I got off in DTW.
Remarks: BAW 275 is pictured here getting the royal treatment just beyond the currently empty nothern wing of the A concourse in celebration of BA's new daily non-stop service LHR-LAS to be operated with a triple. Among the the individuals on board is Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman with the usual compliment of scantily clad show girls. Welcome to LAS BA! It is about time! It is amazing how powerful the lights on those fire engines are!
Remarks: A bad day for Kingfisher Airlines!
Flight IT-4124 Bhavnagar -Mumbai with 42 passengers / 4 crew overshot Mumbai's already shortened runway 27A (due to runway resurfacing work) in light rain and reduced visibility at around 16:40 local time and is stuck in soft ground. Passengers evacuated. Pilots with minor injuries. Extensive damage to fuselage, landing gears, and port propeller! That ATR is certainly not flying ever again!Heres VT-KAC in better times!
Remarks: This is the best place for spotting in Miami international. This place called by the local spotters "The Holes" because the holes in the fence were made especially for us.
