Remarks: The economy section of the Airbus A321 of Air India pictured after landing at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, operating as flight AI 658 on CCJ-CJB-BOM-DEL route. These 321s are configured as 20J/152Y with a 40" seat pitch in J and 32" seat pitch in Y and with PTVs at the back of every seat.
Remarks: Wing view of the Air India hangars at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. This is no ordinary picture as when you view it in full size, you actually realize the aircrafts at the hangars are the Dream)Liners. Picture taken during the days of the Boeing 787 grounding.
Trivia: Can someone give me the exact count of aircrafts in this picture?
Remarks: A glass of 2003 Dom Perignon, a bottle of water, and a comfortable pair of pajamas are on hand as suite 2K in Thai Airways' new Royal First Class cabin has been lowered into "bed mode" in preparation for a few hours of restful sleep. TG911 from London Heathrow to Bangkok.
Remarks: Knee-deep in cloud. This is the sight you only can experience strictly on certain types of aircraft. This is however not smoke, it’s a very thick dew on board which disappeared on cruise level.
Remarks: On behalf of the Royal celebrations, ATC tower was wrapped in with a large orange ribbon. Too bad to strong winds it was removed the day after. So consider this to be a rare shot!
Remarks:Alone in First Class. I was fortunate enough to be the only passenger booked in F on today's LH447 from Denver to Frankfurt, and since LH is the only airline I'm aware of that puts First Class upstairs on its 747-400s, I had the whole hump to myself. D-ABTH still features the older-style F product (and won't be retrofitted since it's due to leave the fleet by September, 2013), but being all alone on the upper deck for 9 hours was still a tremendously enjoyable way to cross the North Atlantic.
