Remarks: ULTRA RARE visitor to Malta ! The IL-76 was flying from Ukraine to Tunisia when before entering the Tunisian airspace it received news that it can't be accepted in Tunisia because of lack of permission to land there. It made several orbits over Lampedusa Island and after a while it was running short of fuel. Still with no permission to land there the crew chose to land the aircraft in Malta. It departed later to Chad.
Remarks: I was looking through the window when suddenly this IL-76 appears in front of me! My first IL-76 of which I got the opportunity to photograph! The shot is through the window therefore sorry for lack of quality then.
