Remarks: Despite the 20kt winds I decided to try and get a photo of the Goodyear blimp which had been flying the previous evening at the Manchester United vs Manchester City football match at the Etihad Stadium.

Remarks: "Spirit of Safety II" has been following the famous cycling tournament Giro d'Italia during the Goodyear Safety Tour 2011. For the last stage of the Giro, the blimp was based in Milan's general aviation airport.
Remarks: Callsign 'Airship Echo Lima' one one of its various flights in the vicinity of Cardiff International Airport taking Goodyear stockists on short journeys. The airship was bought in and used by SKY TV for the England /Wales soccer match on the weekend of 26th March 2011. The airship is Ex N610LG. [1600 pixels].
