Remarks: A unique picture, with the two by the Dutch Dakota Association aquired DC-4's in one picture. PH-DDS is looking good in the old KLM-colors, while ZS-IPR is looking a little worn. Now the PH-DDS is flying in Africa, while the ZS-IPR is now preserved at the Aviodrome in Lelystad. Picture scanned from paper-print.
Remarks: For my photo-number 300 on this great website, I chose this magnificent Douglas DC-4 black-and-white picture. Flanked by a true 1959 classic Mercedes 190SZ convertible is Dutch Dakota Association's ZS-NUR. Oh, how I long for this plane to grace the skies above The Netherlands again... What a beauty she is! This picture was scanned from paper-print and converted to black-and-white afterwards.
