Remarks: Front angle of the DCA MD80 in the early phase of being dismantled. Thank you for so many years of flying commitment to the Curacao and Netherlands Antilles aviation.
Remarks: The final close up photo of a Dutch Caribbean Airlines MD80 now being broken down. Thank you for so many years of flying commitment to the Curacao and Netherlands Antilles aviation.
Remarks: DCA and former ALM MD80 being scrapped. This aircraft carried a lot of history for the aviation of Curacao. A sad sight to see this aircraft being put to its final resting place in the scrap yard after so many years of flying for Curacao and the Netherlands Antilles. An emotional sight for me and the ones close to the aviation in Curacao. I remember this aircraft brandnew when I went to the open day for the public when it was newly delivered to ALM at the time. I also have nice memories flying in this aircraft when I was a kid.

Remarks: Ex-DCA MD82 still stored at the airport. This aircraft has a long history in the Antillean aviation. This aircraft has flown for the Netherlands Antilles since it was newly delivered to ALM Antillean Airlines in the early '80s. After ALM's demise it was later flown by DCA which a few years later also folded. On this photo it still wears the nice DCA colors.
