Remarks: delivered to UA as N1003U July 1961 then delivered to Sterling Airways in the early 1970s, then straight to Airborne Express. The aircraft is currently being broken up as of 2011 after sitting at the New England Air Museum for 28 years..
Remarks: This Caravelle, now preserved at the New England Aviation Museum, first flew in 1961 and was originally purchased by United Airlines (as N1003U). It was then flown by Stirling Airways of Denmark (as OY-SAH, "City of Copenhagen") between 1971 and 1978. It was donated to the museum by Airborne Express in 1982.
