Remarks: Manufactured September 1970 as one of the very last DC-8 serie ever built. Del. to Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Norwegian division on October 22 1970, as LN-MOC . Thai Airways International bought March 1979 as HS-TGS. Royal Thai Air Force bought October 1982. Re-serialled as 60109 in May 1983. Thai International leased back between November 1984 and September 1985 as HS-TGQ. R.T. Leasing Inc. bought May 1989 and re-registered as N791AL in July. To Arrow Air through IAL/AL Partners Inc. since August 1989. Scanned from an old slide.
Remarks: Scanned from Fuji slide. Seen operating for Arrow Air. Delivered new to Alitalia as I-DIWH in July 1970. Later operated by Aeroperu (OB-R-1249 and OB-1249). After Arrow Air, flew with Faucett Peru (OB-1618), Digex Aero Cargo (PT-MDF), an unknown carrier (3D-FCV) and Air Charter Africa (3D-FRE). Last known as stored at Guarani, Paraguay.
Remarks: It was a very long drive down to the South Coast for this DC8 but well worth all the effort as it is in pristine condition , but i am not sure if this is to be its final resting place
