A pair of 208 Sqn T.1s (XX324 & XX161) runs through the Mach Loop, seen here from Bluebell. It’s not often you see multiples of Hawks that are not red.
One of a pair of T.2s (the other was ZK011) is seen here low and fast over the forestry north-west of Dinas Mawddwy on the second of two laps of the Machynlleth Loop.
Possibly my best ever Hawk shot – this one was taken from ‘Bluebell’ in the Bwlch Oerdrws, a few miles north-west of Dinas Mawddwy. (800th sec exposure)
A 208 Sqn T.1 passes below ‘Bluebell’. The aircraft is assigned to 208 Sqn QFI Flt Lt Battersby.
The solo pilot of a T.1 of 208 Sqn skims the logging on the hillside north of the Mach Loop as he follows XX159 (out of shot) below ‘Bluebell’.
