Remarks: It was always watching these classic 747s departing from Manchester on warm sunny days. Quite often they would be heading towards the end of the runway before rotating.

Remarks: Way back in 2008 on my way to Office I Captured this "Queen of the Skies" Arriving from Narita on Runway 27. That's the time when the New Delhi International Airport had no T3, no Runway 29. Capturing these beauties used to bring immense pleasure. Here we see VT-EPW "Shivaji" First Delivered to Air India on 21-10-1988 with a config of F16C40Y227/Cargo and after 20 years of Service to the Nation was stored in Bombay in 2008.
Remarks: JAL was one of the largest operators of the 747 classic and at their peak were a multiple daily sight in Hong Kong. We we were fortunate to still receive them when they were down to just a handful of -300s in 2008 and 2009 on the Tokyo service. JA8186 was one of the last classics to be retired from JAL's fleet. It was then acquired by Orient Thai as HS-UTS and leased to Garuda in 2008. It’s been with Max Air of Nigeria as 5N-MBB since 2009. Hopefully it’s still flying!
Remarks:OX201 takes off to Bangkok via a 25L departure. This bird has always been on my spotting list, consider that done, now it's time to fly on her!
