Remarks: The personal aircraft of the Chief of Air Staff RAAF Air Marshall R.G.Funell. He was visiting RAAF Base Wagga for a graduation parrade of apprentices. First flight 1969. Currently still located at RAAF Base Wagga.
Remarks: A MB326H with the tip tanks removed for dissimiliar air combat training. This was carried out to give the aircraft different performance characteristics to normal 70gal tip configured aircraft.
Remarks: "This training aircraft A7-025 saw service with all 3 West Australian No. 2 flying training school Plus No. 25 and 79 squadrons at RAAF Base Pearce".
Remarks: During the time this photo was taken the RAAF is currently changing the fast jet training aircraft from this to the new BAe- Hawk...Note also the black panther decal on the side of the fuselage
